FARM BUREAU INSURANCE RECOGNZIED FOR ETHICS & INTEGRITY

Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company of Idaho was awarded a 2006 Better Business Bureau “Torch” Award in October. The award recognized Farm Bureau Insurance’s “ethics and integrity when dealing with customers, employees, and the community.”

According to the BBB, the award was “established to gain public recognition for American businesses that maintain a solid commitment to conducting their business practices in an ethical fashion.”

After a business is nominated for the award, they are required to submit their business philosophy, examples of integrity in action, testimonials, and examples of internal and external communication. This information is then given to a panel of judges who evaluate each entry. A winner is chosen in four different categories determined by the number of employees in the business.

Phil Joslin credited Farm Bureau’s employees for the Torch award saying, “It recognizes our commitment to integrity and ethics. It’s an award we can all be proud of. Thanks everyone!”
